Junho Cho received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea. He worked at Bell Labs in Seoul, Korea from 2010 to 2014, at Holmdel, NJ, USA from 2014 to 2020, and at Murray Hill, NJ, USA from 2020 to 2022. Since 2022, he has been with Infinera, Holmdel, NJ. He has authored and coauthored numerous papers, served as a technical committee member for several IEEE/Optica conferences, and served as a reviewer for a wide range of technical journals, the scope of which includes optics, communications, circuits and systems, and computers. He was a Ph.D. dissertation committee member for Seoul National University. His current research interests include probabilistic constellation shaping, forward error correction, and digital signal processing for optical fiber communications.
